This is a snapshot from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
Down on the Gulf Beach at Panama City, Florida.
The sun was so bright,..thus the squint.
Note the pretty white sand that stretches back as far as you can see.
I took the time to look at some more of the snapshots that this red typewriter lady took. I believe from another similar photo that this is Moe.

A lady out on a porch swing.
This is Mrs Wilkenson on her frontporch swing. ‘Member I told you what great proch sitters they are down here. This is the front door andour door was just to the right of the one door you see. She certainly is a nice person..we still go over to see her once in a while.
This lady that typed in red on the back of her photos rarely identified anyone. There are many of her photos still at the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
I believe this photo was taken near Panama City or Panama City Beach in Florida.

We have a couple of names. Josephine John’s daughter Kragness then Mrs. Clark St Louis Mo.
I think perhaps this might be Josephine Kragness. The photo is most likely from the late 1920’s.

This Full Circle began when Iggy found a blog for this family! I contacted the blogger and mailed the photo off.
Anna Huseby Photo Number 2299
I heard from Mark a relative:
"Anna Huseby was born 20 Jul 1870 in Winneshiek Co., the daughter of Arne Johansen Huseby and Johanna Margrete Johannesen. She married Anton Erickson 15 Dec 1896 at Big Canoe Lutheran Church in rural Winneshiek Co. Anton, the son of Jens and Ingeborg (Hanson) Erickson Ness, was born 8 May 1859 at Washington Prairie in Winneshiek Co. Anna and Anton lived in Decorah and later moved to North Dakota. They moved back to Decorah and then moved to Spokane, WA where they remained for the rest of their lives. Anton was 84 when he died at Spokane on 25 Oct 1943. Anna died at Medical Lake in Spokane County on 23 Jan 1946 at the age of 75. They were the parents of 4 boys: Jesse Arthur (1897-1970), George Irving (1900-1983), Arnold Milton (1907-1995), and Wilbert Alvin (1910-1992)."
Your readers might also like the picture of the whole family that I have attached. I was given permission to use it and I'm sure it it is fine if you use it also, though please give credit to Bill Waters and the IAGenWeb Project. The boys in the back are George and Jesse. I believe the ones in the front center are Wilbert and Arnold, though I am not 100% sure.
Thanks, Mark

Full Circle 148
Hi-
I stumbled across photo 39 on your blog. Margaret Peters Bauer is my great great aunt. Her sister is Lucy Peters Bauer, who was my great grandmother. They married brothers: Lucy married John Bauer- my great grandfather, and Margaret married John's brother, Joe Bauer. Do you happen to still have the photo? I showed it to my mom, who is very much into genealogy and she really enjoyed seeing it.
You have a great blog- I love all the old photos!
Anne
I wrote back that yes I still had the photo and I would mail it as requested to her Mom in Illinois.
Thanks again!
Anne
I also heard from Anne’s Mother Mary Beth:
Dear Connie:
Thank you so much for being so thoughtful to see that old photos find a home. How many times I have been to an auction and seen homeless photos, thinking that it was too bad someone didn’t care for them. However as a genealogist I realize that a photo without a name is almost useless if you don’t know the person in the photo. I have a large box of those from my husband’s family.
Margaret’s picture – Margaret appears to be wearing her wedding dress, however, in her wedding picture her hair is arranged differently. She was married in 1908. I have a copy of an older picture of her wearing a high collared dress. She must have preferred them.
Margaret was the 5th of 7 children. Two of her sisters married Bartle brothers, two of her siblings married Grennam siblings, and her husband was a brother to my grandmother.
Margaret and Joseph lived on the Bauer family farm in Harmon, IL until retiring to Dixon. They had two children Clarence and Catherine. Margaret. Joseph and their son Clarence and grandson Robert are buried with Joseph’s parents in a small cemetery in Harmon. Half of my great grandparents children settled in South Dakota near Sturgis. So the pictures must have traveled to them. Clarence’s wife Audrey is still alive and I know she will be interested in the travels of the picture of Margaret.
Thank you so much! Mary Beth

This is a postcard from 1911…at least that is how it is marked on the back.
Seems one boy has a broken arm and another is hanging onto a long pole that may anchor a raft or boat of some sort…or maybe he is fishing.
