This postcard is addressed to Eveline Hansen from Norman and Ernest.  Nov 13 1911
The photographer was Bowman & Lyden of Fergus Falls Minnesota,  Edna S Bowman was the photographer located at 107 1/2 Mill Street North in Fergus Falls.  The second pose most definitely shows a woman’s touch.

Ernest Lee (1 Dec 1906 in Morse, ND - 11 Jan 1937) 

The brothers were living in Fergus Falls in 1910 with parents Nels A. and Henrietta Jorgene Lee.

Norman H. Lee married Rose Caroline Lee (1901 -1985) They adopted a daughter Martha Ann Reem 1939-2015

Ernest Lee  Married Leona Rieken Lee

  3. Such contrast in expressions in that first photograph. What a candid capture of those two!

    Researching Lee is quite the challenge--I have Lees in one part of my husband's family, and I can say that from experience. Of all the family trees posted on Ancestry containing Norman Lee, son of Nels and Henrietta and born circa 1901, I only found one with the right family--and that was just an offshoot from the main branches of that tree.

    I was hoping Oscar might have shown up as a brother to Nels...but no such luck.

    Hopefully, a family member will stumble across this post. It is a darling set. It needs to go home!

  5. HI, I'm Martha's daughter, Melody. She lived with me the past couple of years. I wrote her obituary. I believe I also have a copy of these photos because I know I have seen them before. Norman and Ernest also had another brother, Grant Lee. Where on earth did you get these photos?
