Photo Number 1898

These are two photos from Craig’s Collection.  They are both marked with the same name.
CH Radden Craigs
Maybe they just picked an apple?
CH Radden No 2 Craigs
Then this group gathered out by the clothesline for a photo.
I think these photos may have been taken about 1905 to 1910.  Probably by some just beginning his or her photography career.  The photos are cut a bit crooked.

They are both marked with initials at the bottom C.H.R. and at the top with C. H. Radden
Thanks for stopping by.
Update from Iggy:
This appears to be Charlotte H. Radden (1888 - 1960) East Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois the wife of Henry Christian Radden.

  1. This appears to be Charlotte H. Radden (1888 - 1960) East Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois the wife of Henry Christian Radden. She is Find A Grave Memorial# 97861885

Emma Mohr (shown on Charlotte's memorial) was her sister. I suspect Charlotte, Emma and their girls, Lois Radden and Helen Mohr are in the one photo.

  2. It's a good thing both photographs were marked. Otherwise, I can't see how anyone would have connected those two! Even so, it's amazing that Iggy could figure this one out, simply from a name and no location. Way to go, Iggy!
