Photo Number 1201

This week we will look at some photos of children..

This is a Cabinet Card from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.

Cabinet Card Boys Minnesota DL Antiques

William R. Miller was at 415, 417 and 419 Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis from 1884 to 1889.

I bought this cabinet card because I liked the boys striped stockings.  The older boy looks like his outgrowing his good clothes. The boys are wearing short pants and button shoes.

Thanks for stopping by.  Do come again:)

  3. Yes, those striped stockings are a case. I have a portrait with outrageous stripes like that, too. It is such an eye catcher.

What is it with family members not saving photographs like this?! I keep looking at all the old ones you've posted knowing you wouldn't have found them if no one gave them up. Incredible to think people didn't see these as items younger family members might someday want to have.
