hhmmmm, wheat fields always seem to be BIG, but up in NE Oregon, the wheat fields are BIG and ROLLING hills --- but they always have that stark beauty of this picture.
That's a lot of bread and pasta "on the hoof" (or it was anyway!)
I'm trying to remember if my 1960/70s era instamatic had any zoom ability at all - and I don't think it did - and I got lots of "empty field" shots -- I should have saved them - a lot of those fields aren't empty anymore - development (destruction) houses and way too many drug stores took their places.
67 is about the time my brother was graduating from high school. Because of him, I can remember all the songs on the radio during that time!
