Well, lets take a break from those kids in the chairs..how about a gal on a porch?
I sorted a batch of photos the other day. I put this one in the dog file..because there is a dog lying there next to the porch. This little gal looks to be going to or coming from her first communion.
To Katherine from Barbara Dreis. I found this in the same Antique shop as Anna Dreis..Photo Number 260 and 261. I have decided that Iggy and I are searching for a needle in a haystack searching for Anna..Now I am thinking that Anna was a middle name..and not a proper first name..sometimes that happened. Will we be able to find a Barbara, or will we have two needles lost in the haystack?
Thanks for stopping by, do come again:)

What a great photo and that's a cute dog beside the porch. The hem of her dress is so intricate.
ReplyDeleteFunny thing is, in the 1920 census listings for Dakota, Minnesota there is a Barbara Dreis who had a mother named Anna...and 9 or 10 brothers and sisters.
ReplyDelete:) Just to confuse us some more.
There is also Barbara Dreis in the 1920 & 1930 census from Todd, Hubbard County. I will do some searching, hopefully later today after work. I believe the Dakota/Wadena/Hubbard County Dreis' are tied together.
