Photo Number 177

I purchased this photo at an Antique Shop In Perham, Minnesota. I was intrigued with how ornate her dress seems to be, I wish I could have seen the whole dress!

Thanks for stopping by, do come again:)

Photo number 172 has seen some action, you might want to check it out!
Update from Norkio:
This appears to be an 1880s photo, based on hair style and dress trims. Maybe later 1880s. Bangs were not popular until then, and usually for younger women only. This does look to be a younger woman.

  1. Although she is probably simply holding still for the photo, this lady has a sad look in her face. This appears to be an 1880s photo, based on hair style and dress trims. Maybe later 1880s. You are right, the dress must have been impressive as there's a lot of trim must in the small bit we can see.

  2. I like how the camera picked up the dimensional shape of the eyes. She has a soft hair style but very elaborate decoration on the dress.
